For the life of me, I cannot seem to keep a plant alive, unless it is meant to be a hardy plant that requires very little care. I do not know why I have such a problem, but I do.

When I ind a plant that can survive my own special brand of neglect, as you can imagine, I am overjoyed. That means I want to keep that plant. However, if it is not me trying to kill it, itís my pets or my kid. That means I need plant stands to keep them up and out of the way if at all possible.
