How To Build a Patio Without Knowing How

You can build a patio for your home without even learning how to build a patio. At any garden or home improvement store, you will find those ‘walkway’ stones.
Most of the time they come in a large variety of shapes, colors and sizes. To build a patio using these, and without pouring any cement at all, you just figure out how large you would want your patio.
If you want your patio to be 100 square feet, you would purchase one hundred of the ‘walkway’ squares. That is because the usual size is about one square foot each. This is the easiest way to learn how to build a patio. Then you would dig your ground up and level it.
No need for fancy equipment, a shovel and a rake are sufficient to get the job done. Rake the dirt out evenly and place your stepping stones down one beside the other.
If you want to turn your patio into a perfect square, you will want to make ten rows of ten. You want to fit them as closely together as you can. Then stomp them down a bit into the dirt that you have raked up.
Make sure your stepping stones are nice and even. Put any extra dirt that you raked away on top of the squares. It doesn’t matter if there’s only a little left.
After you have spread the dirt over all of it as evenly as possible, go ahead and sweep it off the stones. This helps fill up any small cracks or spaces in the patio squares. Voila! This is probably the fastest way to learn how to build a patio you will ever come across.
